Job Description

The Head of Partnerships is responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with hospitals, healthcare institutions, and pharmaceutical companies across Europe. This role requires a strong industry network and deep expertise in healthcare, digital health, biotech, and pharmaceutical partnerships. The ideal candidate will shape and execute a partnership strategy that enhances business growth, drives innovation, and strengthens the company’s position in the healthcare ecosystem.

Job Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a partnership strategy for healthcare providers and pharmaceutical companies.
  • Build and nurture high-impact, long-term relationships across Europe and the US, leveraging an established professional network.
  • Identify, negotiate, and secure strategic collaborations, licensing deals, and joint ventures that align with business objectives.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and operations teams to integrate partnerships into the company’s commercial strategy.
  • Lead the acquisition, onboarding, and long-term management of partners to ensure sustained engagement and value creation.
  • Represent the company in industry events, trade associations, and conferences, positioning it as a key player in the healthcare ecosystem.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory landscapes to inform partnership strategies and business decisions.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 8+ years in strategic partnerships, business development, or alliances management in healthcare, digital health, biotech, or pharmaceuticals.
  • Strong network in the European and/or US healthcare and life sciences industry.
  • Proven track record in negotiating and closing large-scale partnerships with hospitals, healthcare systems, and pharmaceutical companies.
  • Experience in developing scalable partnership programs and driving revenue growth through ecosystem collaborations.

Qualification & Skills

  • Expertise in commercial strategy, licensing and royalty agreements, and partnership negotiations.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate partnership opportunities into commercial success.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence C-level executives, government bodies, and key opinion leaders.
  • Data-driven approach to measuring partnership impact and optimizing engagement strategies.
  • Fluency in English and at least one other European language preferred.

Good to Have

  • Familiarity with (digital) oncology products through sales or professional training as an oncologist or molecular biologist.
  • Experience in digital therapeutics, AI-driven healthcare solutions, or SaaS-based healthcare partnerships.
  • Background in go-to-market strategies, M&A, or regulatory affairs related to healthcare or biotech partnerships.
  • Strong familiarity with healthcare regulations, reimbursement models, innovation funding opportunities, and pharmaceutical/healthcare partnership models.
